Disability Confident Employer
We have achieved Disability Confident Employer status; this means we are ensuring that disabled people have the opportunities to fulfil their potential and realise their aspirations with Igne.
The Government's Disability Confident Scheme supports employers like Igne to make the most of the talents that disabled people can bring to the workplace. And the scheme is creating a positive movement of change, encouraging us all to think differently about disability and to take action to improve how we, as a company recruit, retain and develop disabled people.
By being Disability Confident, we want to help lead the way in our community and within the industries we support and encourage other companies to discover skills and talents they cannot do without. By committing to the scheme, we also want to help all colleagues fulfil their potential and contribute fully to our overall team’s success.
The scheme is voluntary and there are 3 levels on the Disability Confident journey. At Igne we achieved level 1 earlier this year to become Disability Confident Committed, but we're pleased to now have advanced to level two to become a Disability Confident Employer.
If you would like to learn more about the scheme and how your company can also learn, develop and positively change to become a Disability Confident workplace, explore more on the Government's website.
Or if you would like to understand more about Igne's commitments, please contact our HR colleagues. And for anyone who wants to join us, view all open roles on our careers page. We can't wait to meet you.
